Along the erixx routes there are great cycling trails and much more to discover. Simply take your bike or e-bike with you on the train and reach the starting point of your next bike tour quickly and easily.
For this purpose, we have set up our own bike areas in each erixx multiple-unit train. Unlike e. g. in urban traffic, erixx does not have any curfews for bicycles. However, in order to offer this service, your bicycle needs its own ticket. Our employees on site and in the customer centre will be happy to help you with tariff advice.
The bicycle day ticket is available at all ticket machines along the routes. This allows you to take a bicycle with you as often as you like on all our trains on the day of the solution – provided there is enough space and your bicycle does not obstruct other passengers. Strollers and wheelchair users always have priority in the erixx. Bicycle transport is therefore only possible within the limits of available capacities. Consideration must be given to persons with reduced mobility.
Please only get in at the doors marked with the bicycle symbol, collect your luggage and secure your bicycle during the ride. Please use the pre-installed straps for this purpose.
